Core Values

The Core Valules of Upper Columbia Academy create a distinctive educational environment in which young people grow and mature.

  • Relationship with Christ.  Upper Columbia Academy is a school where students actively seek a relationship with Christ through prayer, Bible study, service, and evangelism.
  • Family Atmosphere.  The staff and community at Upper Columbia Academy care deeply for youth and invest their time and resources to build Christ centered relationships with students.
  • Student Leadership.  Equip students to serve mankind by empowering them with leadership responsibility today.
  • Academic Diversity.  Provide a high quality, diverse curriculum offering students many choices to meet their academic needs.

Mission Trips

Each year, Upper Columbia Academy sends out several mission teams around the world.   This year, two teams are heading out over spring break.  One team is headed of Borneo and a second team is headed to the Yakima Nation here in Washington state.  Both of these teams will have students interacting with people from other cultures and working to build trust and touch lives.

In addition some students are going on other mission trips sponsored by different organizations.

On the pages of this site you will find general information about the different trips and blogs written by some of the students on the trip.
